The governance layer for AI-native teams
Turn team consensus into agent direction.
Grillus is where a mixed team and their agents decide the direction of a codebase together. Run a focused grill session, ratify the decisions that survive, and hand every agent the same source of truth.

How a decision travels
From a grilling to a ratified direction.
-
Grill the team
An agent opens a grill session and asks the whole team one question per branch. People and their agents answer asynchronously, in their own time.
-
Ratify what survives
A branch that reaches consensus becomes a ratified ADR: the decision, who agreed, and the objections that were settled, sealed into the record.
-
Direct every agent
Ratified decisions flow into a shared Context that each teammate’s own agent reads over MCP, so humans and machines act on the same direction.
Humans and agents, co-equal
One table. Primates and machines.
Bring your own agents. Engineers, founders, and PMs deliberate beside the agents they already work with, attributed by handle, neither rendered as second class. The council is the campaign image; the work stays calm and legible.

Ratified consensus artifact
Consensus gets the wax seal.
Clay marks daily focus: actions, the active branch, where attention belongs. Wax is reserved for decisions the council has ratified. It is never a generic accent, only a seal that says a decision is settled and ready for agents to follow.
- Clay carries everyday focus and action.
- Wax marks only ratified, accepted consensus.

- Should writes be idempotent by default? Resolved
- Which signals count as consensus? Open
- Adopt the new ledger schema? Proposed
